Marathon Edge is a Mumbai-based Private Equity firm that partners with high-growth businesses in the Consumer, Technology, and Healthcare sectors. The project involved building a high-performance, secure, and sophisticated digital storefront that serves as the primary touchpoint for institutional investors and potential portfolio companies.
The Challenge:
The financial sector requires a unique blend of high-end aesthetics and rigid information architecture.
The primary objectives were:
Brand Credibility: Developing a visual language that communicates “Long-Term Capital” and “Partnership.”
Compliance & Disclosure: Creating a secure repository for sensitive documents, such as Stewardship Codes and periodic investor reports.
Performance & SEO: Ensuring the site loads instantly across global regions while maintaining high search visibility for the firm’s key partners.
My Role & Execution:
As the Lead Web Developer / Designer, I was responsible for the end-to-end digital transformation of their web presence.
Custom Corporate Architecture: I designed a clean, minimalist UI that prioritizes “readability” and “authority.” Using a Next.js or WordPress framework, I ensured the site was responsive and professional on any device.
Portfolio Showcase Engine: Developed a dynamic portfolio section to highlight their key investments (e.g., The Belgian Waffle, Ginesys, Tripjack). Each entry was optimized to show sector expertise and investment stage at a glance.
Regulatory Document Management: I built an organized, easy-to-navigate backend for the firm to upload and manage legal disclosures, ensuring compliance with SEBI and other regulatory stewardship requirements.
Security & Optimization: Implemented advanced security headers, SSL encryption, and image optimization to ensure the site is as secure as the financial data the firm handles.
Results & Impact:
Brand Alignment: Successfully launched a digital identity that reflects the firm’s $200M+ fund status and professional pedigree.
Investor Trust: Streamlined the delivery of compliance documents, reducing manual email inquiries by providing a “source of truth” on the website.
